One of the Vegas originals, the Flamingo has a long heritage and plenty of intrigue relating to it’s past gangster ties. The hotel has recently upgraded a number of rooms near the pool complex, now known as ‘Go’ rooms. The pool is one of the largest in Las Vegas and is surrounded by a small nature habitat, including real life flamingos.
Pool was not heated when we stayed there two years ago. You would think it would be the second week after labor day. We were very disappointed and stayed somewhere else the next year. The flamingo has been better in the past.
