Originally one of the first mega resorts in Las Vegas, this property was actually an MGM Grand. Built in 1973, the hotel may be best known for a fire in 1980. The property was eventually sold to Bally Entertainment in 1985, and renamed to it’s current name of Bally’s Las Vegas. A recent renovation in 2004 pushed the room total up over 2800. Adjacent to sister property ‘Paris’, Bally’s is located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.
