The building itself received a major renovation in 2004 and is currently undergoing another renovation. The hotel itself houses less than 1000 rooms and features an 100,000 square foot gaming floor.

In addition to 14 percent sales tax on rooms, there are now $10 a day fees or additional taxes. Is the state of New Jersey trying to keep people from visiting Atlantic City? Ever wonder what would happen if you charged those kind of rates when you mother-in-law came to visit? Oh...now I get it.
