Originally the Aladdin, Planet Hollywood was once an independently owned hotel. The overrun cost of the adjacent PH Towers forced a sale and the resort is now a member of the Harrah’s family. The casino has a younger vibe and definitely trends towards the younger crowd. The pool is so-so but the location, great buffet and shopping plaza make this one of the hipper options in Vegas.
