Info: The Mirage is considered one of the first ‘new age’ Vegas casinos. Built for over $600 million by Steve Wynn, the Mirage had to make $1 million per day to stay afloat. The resort did not merely survive, it thrived. Wynn sold the Hotel to MGM in 2000.

The Mirage is currently home to ‘Love’, Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles inspired show. The hotel features over 3000 rooms and multiple gaming, dining and shopping options.

Mirage is a Rip-Off

May 15, 2011 by Steve Star

Regarding the Mirage's resort fee, you must be kidding. I refused to pay it. I told them to give me my money back and I would sleep on the sidewalk. The Mirage waived the resort fee.

Fellow travelers, please refuse to pay these resort fees. Demand your money back and leave the stupid megaresort. Other hoteliers in Vegas will take your reservation.

  1. We love the Mirage and feel quite at home there, but, I really hate those resort fees. They are the biggest rip off in Vegas. We may have to consider the hotels that are not charging the fee on our next trip.

    Mario A. Guerra Ortega.
