Owned by Boyd Gaming, the Gold Coast is a locals casino that is next door to the Rio and right across the street from the Palms. The hotel contains a bowling alley, showroom and over 2000 slot machines. The majority of the 700+ rooms are over-sized and contain in-room coffee makers.

Well, at least it’s a low cost fee.
I usually purchase a few coffees and bring them back to my room in the morning. The $3 fee for an in-room coffee maker is a fair price to save the trip downstairs (and a couple of bucks at Seattle's Best Coffee, which is inside the Gold Coast).
